UNESCO Jakarta and New Delhi offices are starting short e-learning
courses in May for Southeast and South Asian countries using School of Internet (SOI)
network of 24 universities and research institutes in 13 countries in Asia as of
2006.
Lecture materials of three courses are developed so that they reflect the situation of Southeast and South Asian regions.
Participation
The courses are given free of charge.
Target audience
Any interested parties from general public, academics, practitioners, policy makers can participate in the courses by contacting UNESCO Jakarta.
Certificate
UNESCO will provide a certificate upon the completion of each course. At the end of the course, selected students will be sponsored by UNESCO to carry out a research tour of renewable energy. Details to be announced.
